The plan thus far is to last twelve months travelling. The two of us Sinead and I have our budget set and think that it can be achieved. No more staying in middle of the road hotels and eating out every night. Welcome to crappy dorms and pasta with tomato sauce.
The itinerary is shaping up as follows:
Egypt
Jordan
Syria
Turkey
Eastern Europe-(Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Moldova, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Slovenia)
Western Europe top of Italy (lake Garda) Provence (France) then follow the Tour de France before heading down to Spain and Portugal with the folks.
Last stop a bit more of Northern Africa with three weeks in Morocco.
Then the adventure will take in a long haul flight to Mexico drink Tequilla for a couple of weeks then head down to Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia.
Finally if the budget is still alive America and onto Canada for a weeks skiing to round the year off.
